Oppel & Goldberg’s Real Estate Group counsels clients in the business of real estate, whether as lenders, developers, investors, owners or tenants. The group has experience encompassing real property law in all its forms from raw land to residential uses, office properties, hotels and motels, resort developments, agricultural land and industrial uses.

FINANCING
We have represented lenders, owners and investors in the entire range of debt and equity financing, including multi-jurisdictional secured finance transactions, equity participations, mortgage securitizations, public debt, project finance, credit enhancements, joint ventures, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and traditional real estate financing.

COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
We focus on providing the highest quality legal services to builders and developers in connection with financing, acquisition and disposition, land use and construction of residential real property. We continue to actively assist our developer clients in the creation of neighborhood shopping centers throughout Texas. Our group actively assists clients in the acquisition disposition of properties such as office complexes, hotels, industrial parks and projects, apartment projects and retail centers.

LEASING
Members of our group have substantial experience in representing both landlords and tenants in major lease negotiations, including office building, shopping center and industrial uses, often involving sophisticated ground lease, financing and equity participation arrangements.

The Real Estate Group is headed by Charles N. “Boots” Goldberg who personally brings his 34 years of active experience in all aspects of practice of Real Estate Law to his clients. Mr. Goldberg is currently on the Board of Directors of various Banks, Savings & Loans, Real Estate Investment Trusts and Mortgage Real Estate Investment Trusts.
